Ableton Playback Controller
Jack offers custom Ableton playback for theatre and events, using a specialised approach tailored to the specific needs of modern productions. The Ableton Playback Controller has been built specifically to run professional-level productions with ease, including LTC delivery, MIDI event/tempo distribution, and external controller integration—all with musician and Musical Director-friendly input and readout.
Current feature sets include:

Live Tracking – The cue selector follows playback in real time, allowing for quick confirmation of the current location and the next cue that requires interaction.

Live Status Display – A clear readout indicating playback, VAMP, and Edit status in real time.

Safety Looping – A true musical 'safety' can be entered at any point, snapping to the beginning of the full bar the playhead is currently in. This allows MDs to respond to real-time changes or issues on stage at the push of a button, without having to stop playback.

Integration with any MIDI or GPIO Button Set – Custom programming allows for multiple different input sources, from MIDI GO buttons through to drum sampling pads (such as the SPD-SX). Several different input sources can be added at one time, allowing different members of the band or orchestra to trigger playback.
